The Black Magic is an all mountain women's carving ski with a skinny 72 mm waist, intended for beginner to intermediate women skiers. It's packed with technology, starting with WaveFlex technology, in which the top of the ski from the core up has a series of structural waves designed to make the ski stiff laterally yet still supple-flexing longitudinally. Early Rise Rocker lifts the tip and tail slightly up and off the ground, designed to maneuver through powder and other various conditions. Furthermore, with the tip and tail rockered, less edge is making contact with the snow, designed for responsiveness and minimized turning effort. Monoblock technology brings the ski's laminates over the sidewalls and down to the edges, designed for stability and durability to cater to aggressive skiing styles. Supralite core integrates Airex Composite, a foam material designed to decrease the ski's weight and give it a forgiving flex profile. Fiberglass construction integrates, you guessed it, fiberglass throughout the ski, designed to produce a smooth flex pattern that's easy to bend while maintaining stability.

Light Shift System
The LightShift System is a fully integrated binding system with a free flex plate-in-plate design.Constructed with light materials and a lean design profile, the LightShift system offers incredible weight reduction that allows skiers to maximize performance with less energy. Vibration absorbers fore and aft on the plate dampen chatter to maximize edge hold and responsiveness.
Power Shell Construction
An edge to edge reinforced cap construction, distributing force and stability to every inch of the ski without adding extra weight to the ski.
Fiberglass reinforcement optimizes the flex pattern and enhances torsional rigidity of the ski. The fiberglass is positioned either above or below the ski core and improves a skis structural integrity.
