Featuring 90° of pivot, the Swing Away Accessory gives you free and clear hatch access without removing your bikes. Designed to handle up to 250 lb. of rack plus bike weight, the Swing Away Accessory is compatible with our most popular hitch racks – including the Freedom and SuperClamp platform hitch racks. Convenient and built-in carrying handles make it easy to maneuver and install, while the included Hitch Tightener ensures secure travels down the road. For those times when only a swing away will do, there’s the Saris Swing Away Accessory. A 4-Flat pin connections provides power to a set of DOT certified powerful LED lights with full vehicle OE (brakes, turn signals, hazards, and taillights). - Powerful LED taillights, DOT / FMVSS108 compliant, full brake, turn signal, and hazard light functionality. - Wiring designed to fit within MHS Base to keep wiring out of the way. - For MHS Base only - two component lighting system designed to be installed on any MHS Base. - Can remain installed while MHS System or vehicle is not in use. - 4-Flat to 4-Square pin accessory included.
