We’ll line up a short list of high-performance models to test, then fine-tune for power transfer, warmth, and control.
Plan for about 90 minutes. Bring the socks you actually ski or ride in. If you’ve owned boots before, bring those too—the wear patterns help us dial a smarter, faster fit.

At Little Ed’s, your fit is built on biomechanics, pressure mapping, and stance analysis—not sales theatre. Our veteran boot-fitters pair industry-leading tech (foot mapping, heat molding, custom footbeds, alignment) with years on snow to deliver measurable gains in control, warmth, and endurance.
From first-timers to seasoned racers, we tune every detail so your boots disappear and your skiing or riding shows up.

Boot Fit Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to ski and snowboard boot fitting appointments, adjustments, and related customization services performed by Little Ed’s Ski & Bike.
Appointments & Booking Fee
A non-refundable $50 booking fee is required to reserve a boot-fitting bench. The $50 is credited toward any boot purchase or fitting service completed during that appointment.
The fee keeps your spot cozy on our bench—reserved for riders who actually show up. Commitment level: strong.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
You can reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment at no charge; your $50 credit moves with you.
Cancellations or no-shows: booking fee is forfeited.
Fit Guarantee (Boots Purchased at Little Ed’s)
We stand behind our fit. If you experience discomfort after skiing/riding, we’ll adjust the fit at no labor charge during the guarantee period (materials at cost).
Guarantee period: up to one winter season (12 months max) from purchase date.
Boots Purchased Elsewhere
We’re happy to work on boots purchased elsewhere. Standard boot-work rates apply and vary by service (shell punches, liner work, footbed fitting, etc.).
Fit guarantees apply only to boots purchased at Little Ed’s.
What’s Included / Not Included
Included during a fit or follow-up: assessment, stance/volume checks, and common adjustments.
Custom parts/materials (e.g., footbeds, heel lifts, posted shims) are billable; non-warranty parts are at cost; labor for adjustments under the guarantee is no charge.
Returns & Exchanges
Unaltered, unused boots may be eligible for return or exchange per our store policy and within posted timelines.
Heat-molded, modified, or used boots may not be returnable; at our discretion we’ll prioritize fit adjustments or exchanges over refunds.
Timing & Expectations
A comprehensive initial fit typically takes 60–120 minutes; complex cases can require multiple visits.
What to Bring
Thin, ski/snowboard-specific socks and any orthotics/footbeds you use. Wear/bring the base layers you’ll normally ride in.
Safety & Performance
Boot fitting balances comfort and control; performance fits can feel snug at first and usually improve after a few days on snow.
Payment
Booking fee is paid at scheduling; remaining service/product charges are due at the end of the appointment.
Warranty
Manufacturer defects are handled under the manufacturer’s warranty terms. Fit work related to normal customization isn’t a manufacturing defect.
Liability
Alpine sports involve risk. By booking a fitting, you acknowledge these risks and agree that adjustments are performance-oriented services that cannot eliminate all discomfort or injury risk.

Little Ed’s may update these terms periodically. The version posted at booking applies to your appointment.
